Tart Cherry Cobbler

I’m making a quick post to show off this yummy breakfast cobbler that I made using frozen tart (sour) cherries.

Filling
400 g. sour cherries, frozen
100 g sugar
24 g flour
1 t vanilla

Topping
113 g. butter
136 g. all-purpose flour
100 g. white sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder
128 g. milk

Combine the sour cherries, sugar, flour and vanilla in a bowl. Set aside.

Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl then cut in the butter with a pastry cutter or two forks. Mix in the milk.

In the bottom of a deep dish pie plate, add the filling to the bottom of the pie plate. Scoop the topping onto the filling.

Place into a 350 degree f oven for 50 minutes, or until the filling is bubbling and the top has browned.
