Local Foods

I’m a big advocate for shopping at local food stores. This year on Good Friday I decided to try some of the local food shops in Worcester instead of spending the day baking.

Our first stop was Helen’s bakery. It is a wonderful Italian bakery that makes you feel like you went to your grandmothers house. We purchased some amazing foods and they gave each of the kids a cookie.

Golemo’s Market was the next stop. I purchased a fresh and a spicy kielbasa. We also purchased 3 Polish eggs, which are wooden.

We stopped at Compton collective and Bedlam Book Cafe. I Pinterest sister pie, which I’ll post about later.

Our final shop was at Ed Hyder’s Mediterranean market. The tomato pie was my absolute favorite.
