I made two pies as gifts yesterday evening. By the time this posts, the pies will have been gifted and completely consumed. Recently I took the Irish Apple Tart class that Kate McDermott offered through the 92Y. You may have noticed that my baking strategy is that I intensely make a class pie after taking a class. This lovely Irish Apple Tart is a lovely gift.
The first pie was for a friend who is starting radiation on Friday. The second pie was for a work group. I was excited to share these beauties.
