I posted a few weeks ago that my mother gave me her Corelle corn flower pie pans and how that was a rite of passage. I used them and my pie completely ran over into the oven, similar to what happened when she used them. My theory is that the pie pans are smaller, though a measurement did not seem to verify that theory. However at a local flea market yesterday I grabbed another one to bring my total count to three pans. When I start baking pies in the fall then I can test them a bit more. For now they look pretty on my dining room table!
