
This blog post is a bit late as I’ve been literally baking loads and loads of pies, both sweet and savory. I’ll catch up on my pie posts but this recipe is from Kate McDermott’s Art of the Pie book – The Quintessential Apple Pie. I like berries in my fruit pies so I added a layer of raspberries
The crust is from Kate’s book as well and follows the butter and shortening dough. My kids loved it and even commented on how flakey the crust was.
