But don’t eat them! We recycled crayons into chunky crayons into a rainbow of lovely colors. This is a project that I’ve been wanting to do since I became a mom but never did. The inspiration for these fun crayons came from cleaning out various closets and desks. I’ve been sorting through the myriad of treasures, junks, and crayons that were found.
Once the labels were peeled off, we broke the crayons into small pieces and put them into a heavily greased mini muffin pan. We filled two tins! Both tins heated in an oven heated to 275 degrees for 10 minutes. Once they were out of the oven, they cooled quickly. Within 30 minutes, the cooled chunky crayons slide of the tins. I need to get onto my 2021 goal but right now doing projects with my family is pretty fabulous.
