Start with the Basics

In my latest pie book read, Pie, by Sara Foster, she suggests that you start with the basics. Starting with the basics for making pie crust is a good starting point for January in my year to perfect the pie. I’ve had great results with a pate brisee recipe but want to experiment with different crust recipes.

I’m going to dedicate my weekends to experimenting with different techniques and recipes for crusts.
